Hi! We’re Allison and Mariana – dog moms, stuffed animal enthusiasts, and co-founders of Gift Spawt.
In 2016, our two cockapoos – both named Riley – became Valentines through Instagram. Since we lived in different countries, it wasn’t possible to arrange an actual playdate.
But we were able to send gifts and care packages to help our dogs celebrate birthdays, holidays, and special occasions together. These small gestures not only made our dogs unbelievably happy, they also gave us the
opportunity to form a friendship.
The following year, we decided to combine our passion for pups and plush dog toys into an Instagram account called Dogs with Stuffed Animals (@dogswithstuffedanimals).
Through this community, we connected with so many wonderful pet parents all over the world, who were just as obsessed with their dogs as we were. They threw their dogs birthday parties, made sure they had Christmas presents under the tree, and dressed them up for Halloween each year.
These dog moms and dads also sent gifts to dog friends for birthdays, holidays, cheer-ups, or just for fun. This allowed them to celebrate with their puppy pals even if they lived in another city, state, or country!
When we realized that there wasn’t a fun and easy way to send gifts to Instagram dog friends, we thought, “What if friends could send each other gifts using just an Instagram handle?” In an effort to simplify the gift-giving process and spread more puppy love, we created Gift Spawt - A one-stop-shop for sending dog gifts, stuffed toys, and personalized care packages.
We LOVE hearing our customer’s stories and seeing how our gifts have made your dog feel happy, excited, and adored.
